About Us
PENNSYLVANIA DISTRICT 27, LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL and SOFTBALL
Local Little League programs are governed by a Board of Directors and provide opportunities for children ages 4 through 16 to participate in fun yet competitive baseball and softball programs. Local Leagues also provide training opportunities for adults interested in volunteering as coaches, managers, and umpires.

Each year District baseball and softball programs compete in various levels of all-star play hoping to end up someday in a World Series!
Making a Difference
Little League Baseball and Softball continue to be the largest and most recognized youth sports program in the world.

It is estimated that 35 million people have played in or volunteered for a local Little League program since its inception.
More than a Sport
To this day, the basic goal remains the same as it was in 1939: give all children of the world a game that provides the fundamental principles of good sportsmanship, fair play and teamwork. It is our hope and belief that they will use this later in life to become good citizens.

We use baseball and softball as tools to teach these principles while providing great skill programs and excellent competition.
Building Strong Individuals
and Communities
Little League Baseball and Softball is played in approximately 6,500 communities across more than 80 countries around the world, but regardless of where they are played, each of them share the same core mission.

Little League believes in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities.

Joined together by one common goal, every local league is part of One Team. One Little League.
