  • Section 8 Tournaments

    • BB-10 -- Section 8 Champion: D21-Morrisville LL

    • BB-11 -- Section 8 Champion: D21-Morrisville LL

    • BB-12 -- Section 8 Champion: D19-Media LL

    • BB-INT -- Section 8 Champion: D27-Lower Merion LL

    • BB-JR -- Section 8 Champion: D22-Springfield LL

    • BB-SR -- Section 8 Champion: D22-Upper Moreland LL
       

    • SB-10 -- Section 8 Champion: D22-Plymouth LL

    • SB-11 -- Section 8 Champion: D27-Lower Merion LL.

    • SB-12 -- Section 8 Champion: D27-Lower Perkiomen LL

    • SB-JR -- Section 8 Champion: D22-Plymouth LL

    • SB-SR -- Section 8 Champion: N/A
       

  • PA State Tournaments

    • BB-10 -- Hosted by Section 6, District 29 (multiple LL's)

      • The Championship game was played on Sun between D21-Morrisville v. D28-Glenmore Eagle LL.  

      • No winner has been posted on the State website yet, but looking at GC, it looks like D28-Glenmore Eagle LL may be the State Champion.
         

    • BB-12 -- Hosted by D19-Newtown Edgemont LL.

      • D19-Media LL has been winning all week and they are in the Championship game on Mon night at 7:00 pm at NELL.

      • D28-East Side LL surprised Back Mountain on SAT and North Lebanon on SUN to earn the other spot in the Championship.

      • There should be many fans on Monday night with two local teams in the Championship game.

      • There have been many fans from D27 at the games this week as well.  It has been a very good tournament so far.
         

    • SB-11 -- Hosted by S3-D15-Wellsboro LL.

      • Lower Merion won a State Tournament game on Sun v. Wallenpaupack in Wellsboro, PA.

      • They now play a combined team from District 1 on Monday at 2:00 pm.  Good luck to the LM girls.
         

    • BB-11 -- D21-Morrisville is the PA State Champion.

    • BB-INT -- Lower Merion is the PA State Champion.

    • BB-JR -- D32-Mid-Valley LL is the PA State Champion.

    • BB-SR -- D13-Warrior Run is the PA State Champion.
       

    • SB-10 -- D28-Caln LL is the PA State Champion.

    • SB-12 -- D17-North Pocono is the PA State Champion.

    • SB-JR -- D11-West Suburban is the PA State Champion.

    • SB-SR -- D29-Stroudsburg is the PA State Champion.

  • Regional Tournaments

    • BB-INT -- Tom's River (NJ) is the East Region Champion. They play SE-Tampa (FL) on Monday at 12:00 pm (PT) on ESPN+.

    • SB-12 -- D27 Umpire Jim Lotka served as an umpire in Bristol, CT for this tournament.  He was on 3B on ESPN for the New England Championship.

    • SB-JR -- D27 Umpires Gary Hall and Dave Winning served as umpires in Orange, CT for this tournament.

    • SB-SR -- D27 Umpire and ADA-Softball Ed Tabbut served as an umpire in Worchester, MA for this tournament.

    • SB-SR -- D27 Umpire and ADA-Softball Ed Tabbut is serving LL as an umpire in Worster, MA for this tournament.

PENNSYLVANIA DISTRICT 27, LITTLE LEAGUE 

PA District 27 provides leadership and guidance to locally chartered Little Leagues of baseball and softball in our District during their regular season of play.  

The District also offers opportunities for all-star tournament play in a variety of age groups.

Little League Baseball and Softball

Little League Baseball and Softball continues to be the largest and most recognized youth sports program in the world. It is estimated that 35 million people have played in or volunteered for a local Little League program since its inception.

To this day, the basic goal remains the same as it was in 1939: give all children of the world a game that provides the fundamental principles of good sportsmanship, fair play and teamwork.
